Since January 1978, the Unemployment Pool has provided transparent, quality, cost-effective program management and employer representation for member districts. Our team strives to provide in-depth customer service and is accessible, informed, and responsive.
Unemployment
Unemployment for Southwest Washington Schools provides cost effective unemployment benefit claims administration for its members. The Unemployment Pool was established to jointly fund costs incurred by members for unemployment benefits. The Pool maximizes efficiencies by having trained staff focused on claims administration for all members. Members of the Pool share resources for unemployment compensation claims and representation at hearings.
One representative from each member serves on the Unemployment Pool Advisory Board. The Advisory Board has delegated authority to a five member Executive Committee, which provides oversight of general operations.
